On April 15th 2015 I walked from the center of Besançon, France to the highest point in that city. There I drove a wooden stake into the ground and tied a fishing line to it. I then walked in the direction of Berlin unfurling the line behind me until it ended. On July 7th 2015 I repeated the action in Berlin, walking in the direction of Besançon.
The performance now goes on hiatus until there is a budget to purchase the remaining length of fishing line (approximately 799,000 meters) and time to finish the walk connecting the cities.
