For 45 minutes I interrogated 7 dinner guests, asking progressively harder and more intimate questions. I did not let them eat or drink, when a guest picked at their food I took the plate away, when another guest asked for a drink of water, I ejected them from the space. Over the duration of the performance the small room got warmer and more humid, tension between myself and guests increased. After one participant refused to answer a question I spilled wine on the food and told everyone to leave.

“Verschärft essen” translated to “Enhanced eating” references ‘Enhanced Interrogation’ or torture that should leave no marks on the interrogated.
